Ticket Order

As of Easter it is only possible for Patrons to order subscriptions for the next season. Single tickets for subscription performances may be booked as of 1 December (depending on availability). For all the performances that do not form part of the subscription tickets may be ordered already as of now. The detailed terms and conditions of booking are as follows:

Preferential Treatment for Patrons

Members of the Association of Patrons of the Salzburg Easter Festival receive preferential treatment when booking tickets and as subscribers they enjoy the exclusive benefit of guaranteed seats every year. You can find detailed information about the benefits offered by the association including an online application form by clicking the menu option membership.

Young Patrons

The Easter Festival has a Young Patrons’ scheme that allows individuals under the age of thirty-five to join the association of patrons of the Salzburg Easter Festival at a much reduced rate. This entitles members to a limited number of seats in price category V.

Special reduced-price tickets for young people

Special reduced-price tickets for young people, when available: Information on this will be given on this website as of 1 December.

Subscription

The subscription includes one opera and three orchestral/choral concerts.

Single Tickets for Subscription Performances

It is also possible for non-patrons to order the remaining tickets for subscription performances, but not until 1 December. The sale of these tickets will be processed in the order in which applications are received.

Concert for Salzburg, Chamber Opera, Chamber Concerts, Children’s Concert

Tickets for the Konzert für Salzburg (Concert for Salzburg), the Kammeroper (Chamber Opera), the Kammerkonzerte (Chamber Concerts) and the Kinderkonzert (Children’s Concert) can be ordered immediately.

Additional Events

Patrons may order a free ticket for both the Einführungsvortrag zu Don Carlo (Introductory lecture on Don Carlo) and the Diskographische Nachlese (Discocraphy Lecture). Remaining tickets for these events at the price of € 20.00 each can be booked as of 1 December. The admission to the Panel discussion about Don Carlo is free and no registration is required.

Changes of Cast and Programme

The Salzburg Easter Festival reserves the right to change artists and programme and such changes do not entitle ticket holders to return their tickets.

Ticket Return

Without guarantee, only patrons may return tickets only for sold-out performances for resale (10% commission charge).
