Single Tickets for Subscription Performances

It is possible for non-patrons to order remaining tickets for subscription performances. The sale of these tickets will be processed in the order in which applications are received.


Subscription

The subscription includes one opera and three orchestral/choral concerts. The 2021 program includes Richard Wagner’s Lohengrin. Christian Thielemann will take the podium of the Staatskapelle. He will further conduct a concert with music by Béla Bartók and Richard Strauss. Tugan Sokhiev will conduct Dmitri Schostakowitsch’s Symphony Nr. 7 C-Major op. 60 Leningrad and Christian Thielemann is in charge of the choral concert with works of Anton Bruckner.


2022 Salzburg Easter Festival: Concert for Salzburg, Chamber Concerts, Kapelle für Kids:


Concert for Salzburg

The popular Concert for Salzburg will be conducted by the Staatskapelle’s principal guest conductor, the South Korean Myung-Whun Chung. The programme will include the Fourth Symphony of Johannes Brahms, the 125th anniversary of whose death is in 2022.


Chamber Concerts and Kapelle für Kids

We invite you to discover the full variety of the programme of the 2022 Easter Festival. As usual, it will also feature two Chamber Concerts and the Kapelle für Kids.


Additional Events

Patrons may order a free ticket for both the Introductory Lecture on Lohengrin . Remaining tickets for these events at the price of €10 each can be booked as of 1 December.


Preferential Treatment for Patrons

Members of the Association of Patrons of the Salzburg Easter Festival receive preferential treatment when booking tickets and as subscribers they enjoy the exclusive benefit of guaranteed seats every year. You can find detailed information about the benefits offered by the association including an online application form by clicking the menu option membership.


Young Patrons

The Easter Festival has a Young Patrons’ scheme that allows individuals under the age of thirty-five to join the association of patrons of the Salzburg Easter Festival at a much reduced rate. This entitles members to a limited number of seats in price category V.

Changes of Cast and Programme

The Salzburg Easter Festival reserves the right to change artists and programme and such changes do not entitle ticket holders to return their tickets.


Ticket Return

Without guarantee, only patrons may return tickets only for sold-out performances for resale (10% commission charge).


Tickets for U27

In cooperation with Ticket Gretchen, tickets for the Easter Festival are available for everyone under 27 at a price of EUR 35 and EUR 25! The tickets can be booked via the Ticket Gretchen app.
